July 2019 Edition – Here Are The Best New Cars Deals In Ontario

There is a newer and updated version of this article available.

We kicked off the month of July with Canada day, and lots of warm weather. Whether you’re sick of public transit, ready to finally have a car with respectably AC, or need something to get you around for a new summer job, there are some great programs on vehicles this month in Southern Ontario. If you are looking for a new car this month, here’s a rundown on the absolute best new car deals in Ontario.

Best New Car deals In Ontario – July 2019

Luxury Sedan: Infiniti Q50 AWD, lease

5 Seater CUV: Toyota CH-R LE, Lease – competitor to the Kona with 0$ down.

7 Seater SUV: Mazda Cx-9 Lease, huge family value.

Truck: Ford F150 & Chevrolet Silverado tie on lease, get ‘Employee’ and ‘Costco’ pricing

Performance Car: 2019 Chevrolet Corvette, Finance (Eligible for huge discount with Costco preferred pricing! GM never combines this credit on this model)

TIP: July tends to be a slower month for most dealerships and sales in general, since the summer weather encourages people to take holidays, trips, and stay outside! This means you can generally find good deals because dealers are looking to move inventory and speed things up for the month.

July offers lots of program carry over, and some program by most manufacturers. It’s generally a slower season for sales, so expect dealer discounts!

Hyundai

Kia

The 2019 Kia Sorrento is a carries a similar and fantastic promotion form last month. Seat 7 on a 0% finance term, with sunroof, power-lift gates, and 360 degree cameras. Even though Kia still offers a Sedona minivan as an option, I strongly recommend against it. A 7 seater SUV holds more value when its time for you to sell.

It’s no surprise that the Kia Forte has found itself as the best compact deal of the month. I LOVE this lease option since it is only for 3 years, with a respectable $99 biweekly payment. Their advertised EX model come standard with wireless charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, blind spot mirror detection, and a 5 year warranty on a 3 year lease…LOL. Despite the $2505 down payment, she short term lease provides far more flexibility to upgrade later on. Watch out for dealers to even put together a 2 year in house lease option to give you even more options!

TIP: Ford has maintained a strong market share for 2019 in the truck segment, outpacing GM and Dodge on their trucks. Take advantage of this if you’re interested in a Ram, Silverado, or Sierra since these dealers will be looking to catch up by providing the best new car deals in Ontario on their truck inventory!

Need a deal on rims, tires, parts, or accessories?

Conquest has teamed up with the Canadian Car Club to provide you the best new car deals in Ontario on cars, parts, and accessories! They offer Canadians access to fantastic prices on parts and accessories that you would find at big box stores or discount clubs. When you purchase your vehicle through a Conquest consultant you’ll get a 1 year membership to their discounted services and prices.

They also offer mobile tire installation and swaps throughout the GTA at affordable prices. Don’t wait at a dealership if you don’t have to! To become a member, visit their website, or purchase your vehicle through Conquest Cars Canada.

Chrysler | Jeep | Dodge | Ram

Dodge has been extremely consistent with the cash discounts offered on their new pickup trucks. The incentive and the BigHorn lease payment are the same from last month. The BigHorn below is advertised at a weekly payment of $79 however the down payment should be $2699+HST if it carries the same residual as last month.

The Dodge Caravan lease below looks quite promising at $59/week however once you factor in the down payment, plus fees, plus freight, it becomes quite expensive. The way they advertise their vehicle below is technically not even allowed by OMVIC law. Unless a minivan is a MUST, this may not be the best choice.

TIP: All fees MUST be advertised into the vehicle payment. The only additional fees or charges a dealer may ask for is licensing +taxes (HST).

Unless you really like the look of Dodge’s products, there are no real ‘deals’ to be had here. I hate the fact that these vehicles are being advertised on a payment based on 96 months. That’s a lot of interest..

Mazda

The Mazda CX-9 provides awesome value for a monthly payment around $600, and it comes on a 5 year lease.

This month Mazda has chosen to advertise their vehicles on their cash price values, and you have to work further into the vehicle selection to get lease or finance price scenarios. Generally manufacturers do this if they are advertising a cash incentive, however strangely enough Mazda does have some great lease and finance deals.

Mercedes

Mercedes is consistent in their program offerings this month. Their C300 is a unique value especially considering that for an additional $800 down-payment, you could jump into a slightly smaller vehicle than the Mazda, however its a Mercedes.

Toyota | Lexus

This Lexus is such a cool offering considering it gives the additional utility of being a hatchback hybrid vehicle. Expect to get great fuel economy off the UX250h.

The Prius prime is still available for the $5000 IZEV credit if you can find a dealership that still has one available! Match with one of our Toyota Conquest Consultants to learn more about your options

Nissan | Infiniti

The QX80 still remains a fantastic option for a luxury full-size 7 seater with a sub $1000 monthly payment. You won’t find many other luxury manufacturers competitive on a short term lease offering like this.

The 2019 Nissan Qashqai offers fantastic value for $0 down. You can’t go wrong. Also following suite to Infiniti’s QX80, the Nissan Pathfinder comes well equipped at an extremelly humble price-point.

Volvo

Almost, New. With Huge Savings.

GM has brought back their Costco pricing program! If you are a Costco cardholder prior to February 2019, you are eligigible for true employee pricing on nearly all of their models. This month it includes the corvette and camaro!

They also offer a $500 Costco cash-card that is redeemable on all purchases in store- great offer.
