Is The Dodge Durango RT Better Than The 2020 Toyota Highlander?

There's a Long Lineage Between Both SUV's, But Does One Do It Better?

In this video I compare the current Dodge Durango RT vs the new Toyota Highlander.
I compared them head to head in terms of tech features, space, ride, trims and more.

The Dodge Durango it is equipped with the RT trim meanwhile the Toyota has the Platinum package.

A bit of history about these two models.

The Dodge is 2 years older than the Highlander, first introduced in 1998 and since then it has become very popular, the current 2020 generation is very similar to third generation Durango but with updates in 2013 model, and for 2016 the Durango received the new Pentastar Upgrade V6 which adds Stop/Start.

For 2018, all models received the new Uconnect radios and the 3rd Generation ZF 8 speed automatic transmission. The rotary transmission gear shifter has been replaced with a T-grip handle like in the Dodge Charger. The steering wheel has also been changed to a more sporty wheel like found in the Dodge Charger. Other changes include suede insert leather seats and black chrome inserts in the interior on the GT model. For 2019: The Tow Group IV package gets an integrated trailer brake controller. The Dodge Durango GT trim gets the R/T- and SRT-style grille.

The Toyota Highlander first generation was introduced in 2000, the second generation in 2007, and the third generation in 2013. The current model is the 4th generation which has a new design, new tech features and new interior.
