Cadillac CT5 Head To Head With The BMW G20 3 Series
Should BMW Be Worried?
The new Cadillac CT5 is a great choice if you are looking into a daily luxury sedan with some biceps, but is it as good as the G20 BMW 3 Series 330i M Package? In this video I go over the trims, options, prices and engine choices of the new Cadillac CT5 and how it compares to the current G20 3 Series.
The CT5 in this video is the standard model with the sport trim to make it a fair comparison against the 330i M. The Cadillac offers under the hood a 4 cylinder twin power scroll turbocharged engine producing 237-bhp and 258 b-ft paired with a 10 speed automatic transmission delivered through the new developed Electronic Precision Shift.
The RWD Cadillac it will do 0-60 within 6.6 seconds, not as impressive as the BMW which it will do it in 5.6 seconds. Separate testings have shown that the 330i can do it in 5.1 seconds, very impressive!
The 330i under the hood has 2.0 litter twin power inline 4 cylinder that produced 255 bhp and 295 lb-ft equipped with an 8 speed ZF automatic transmission.
