Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Conquest Cars Canada Inc. (“Conquest Cars”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), the operator of conquestcars.ca (the “Site”), including its car value / trade-in tool (the “Trade Tool”). By accessing or using the Site or the Trade Tool, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Trade Tool.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory and a resident of Canada to use the Trade Tool. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. The Trade Tool

The Trade Tool gives you an estimated trade-in value range for your vehicle, drawn from sources such as Canadian Black Book, OpenLane, and other third-party dealer auction data, updated daily.

Values shown are estimates for comparison purposes only and are not an offer, appraisal, or guarantee of what any dealer will actually pay for your vehicle. A vehicle’s real trade-in value depends on an in-person inspection, its condition, service history, options, and the market at the time you trade it in. Final terms always come from the dealer you choose to deal with — Conquest Cars doesn’t set or guarantee them.

4. Your account

Using the Trade Tool requires verifying your phone number with a one-time code. This creates an account that is personal to you — you won’t share your credentials or let someone else use your account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your verified phone number secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site or the Trade Tool — for example, by submitting false information, attempting to access another person’s account or data, interfering with the Site’s normal operation, or using the Site for any unlawful purpose.

6. Third-party services

The Trade Tool uses third-party services (for example, phone verification and vehicle valuation data providers). Your use of those services, where they present their own terms, is also governed by those terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Site, the Trade Tool, and their content, software, and trademarks are owned by Conquest Cars Canada Inc. or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Site for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Site except as permitted by law.

8. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND THE TRADE TOOL ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON’T WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR ENTIRELY SECURE.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Conquest Cars will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or the Trade Tool, or from any dealer transaction. Nothing in this section limits liability that can’t be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Conquest Cars harmless from claims and costs arising out of your use of the Site or the Trade Tool, or your breach of these terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Trade Tool at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, or to protect the Site and its users.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date; continued use of the Site after changes means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
